Cookie policy
What a cookie is on this site
A cookie is a small piece of text your browser stores at our request. We use them to keep you signed in between pages, to remember the language you chose, and to measure which links bring visitors here and what they do once they arrive.
The cookies we set
Essential
- wordpress_logged_in_*, keeps you signed in. Expires when your session ends.
- dz_oauth_state, protects a sign-in with Twitch, Kick or Discord against forgery. Lasts at most 15 minutes and is removed when the sign-in finishes or you sign out.
- wp-settings-*, remembers admin screen choices, for signed-in editors only.
Preferences
- vt_lang, remembers the language you picked, so the front page opens in it. 12 months.
- Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser’s own storage and never sent to us.
Analytics
- vt_vid, a random visitor ID. It ties together the pages you view and the links and buttons you click, so we can see how the site is used and which pages lead to a casino, a signup or a giveaway entry. 13 months.
- vt_src, the campaign link or source you last arrived from, for example a link in a Twitch panel, so a later visit or signup is credited to it. 30 days.
With these we record the page, what was clicked (the link or button text, the section of the page and where it leads), the campaign or website you came from, your country, your device type, and your account if you are signed in. We do not store your IP address with them, we never record what you type, and we do not share or sell them. They are deleted after 13 months.
Affiliate, set by the operator
When you follow a link to a casino, that operator sets its own cookies once you arrive on its site. Those are governed by the operator’s policy, not this one. We disclose the affiliate relationship on every page that carries a listing.
Velatonmies Slot
- vt_vslot (shown as __Host-vt_vslot), essential: holds the weekly game session you are playing. Ends a week after the session.
- vt:vslot:*, kept in your browser’s own storage rather than in a cookie and never read by us from there: vt:vslot:sound, vt:vslot:turbo and vt:vslot:reduce remember your game settings; vt:vslot:seed:<session> keeps the client seed of a session you have entered until the seed is revealed; vt:vslot:proof:<session> is your fairness receipt for a session (the fingerprints of both seeds and your client seed, saved when the session starts), kept until 90 days after the session’s seeds are revealed, so you can check that its public record was never changed.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, only in the Velatonmies Slot sign-up window and only when we ask you to confirm that you are a person: it reads technical details of your browser to tell people from bots.
Turning them off
Every browser lets you delete cookies for one site or all sites. On mobile, Safari and Chrome both keep it under Settings → Privacy. Deleting the essential cookies signs you out; deleting or blocking the analytics cookies has no effect on what the site shows you.
