What kind of giveaways we run

Velatonmies runs giveaways for its community and never charges an entry fee. Each draw has a stated prize and a close date, and the winner is published once the draw is done. Every giveaway allows one entry per person, you must be 18 or over to take part, and some draws are for members only.

Our draws come in five types:

• Sign-up giveaways: you register at casinos named in the draw, up to six per giveaway, and the entry form can ask for the email address or phone number you used at each one.
• Discord giveaways for members of our Discord community.
• Points giveaways tied to the club points you earn on the site.
• Social giveaways run on our social media channels.
• Stream-watch giveaways for viewers who follow a live stream.

A draw picks its winner at random, while our casino leaderboards rank entrants under their own rules and prizes. Points you collect can be spent in the rewards store.

How to spot a fake giveaway

Fake free giveaways are common on social media, and most follow the same script: a message says you have won, then asks you to pay or log in somewhere to claim the prize. Fake casino giveaways often borrow the name and logo of a real brand to look convincing. These rules catch most of them:

• Never pay to enter or to claim. A genuine giveaway does not charge an entry fee, a "verification" payment or postage for the prize.
• Never share a password, bank login details or a one-time code. No draw needs them.
• Check who runs it. The organiser, rules and past winners should be on the organiser's own website, not only in a comment or direct message.

How winners are drawn and contacted

When a giveaway closes, the entries that meet its rules go into the draw and the winner is picked at random. Duplicate accounts and sign-ups that cannot be matched to the entrant are removed first. The winner is then published on the giveaway page, so anyone can check the prize went to a real entrant.

We contact winners through the account or channel they entered with, and receiving a prize never costs anything. Check each giveaway's terms for how long you have to respond.

Sign-up giveaways: what they ask and why the account must be yours

A sign-up giveaway asks more of you than a like or a follow. You open accounts at the casinos named in the draw, and the entry form can ask for the email address or phone number you registered with at each one. That is how your sign-up is matched to your entry, so the details must match exactly. Some sign-up draws also set a minimum deposit at the casino.
