An Ethereum casino takes ETH for deposits and withdrawals, and usually ERC-20 tokens such as USDT and USDC on the same network. Ethereum is fast, with a new block every 12 seconds, but each transfer pays a gas fee that rises with demand. That fee, more than the speed, decides whether ETH suits the amount you want to move.
Gas is paid on every Ethereum transaction, and the casino pays it too when it sends your withdrawal. That is why casinos often set a higher minimum withdrawal for ETH than for cheaper coins. In our Duelbits review, the minimum ran from about $10 in Solana to $50 in Ethereum. For a small amount, a cheaper network costs less. For a large one, the fee becomes a small share and Ethereum's speed is a plus.
An Ethereum address starts with 0x. Ethereum's layer-2 networks, such as Arbitrum, Optimism and Base, use the same format, and so do other chains like BNB Smart Chain. A cashier that accepts ETH on the Ethereum main network will not see coins you send on a layer 2, even though the address looks right. Check the network name in the cashier, choose the same one in your wallet, and send a small test first when the address is new to you.
Stablecoins on Ethereum are ERC-20 tokens. They hold their dollar value but still pay gas in ETH, so your wallet needs a little ETH to send them. If you deposit USDT, check whether the casino lists it on Ethereum, Tron or another network, and use the cheapest one both sides support. The networks are compared on the USDT casinos page.
Once the casino has approved the payout, a transfer with a normal fee usually lands in a block within a minute. Wallets and exchanges then wait for their own number of confirmations before they show it. So when an ETH payout is slow, look at the casino's approval queue first. For small deposits the gas fee is the problem, and Litecoin or a stablecoin on a cheaper network costs less.
